SEVERE WEATHER BULLETIN #11
TROPICAL CYCLONE WARNING: TYPHOON "#PabloPH” (BOPHA) 
ISSUED AT 05:00 AM, 05 DECEMBER 2012 
(Valid for broadcast until the next bulletin to be issued at 11 AM today)

TYPHOON “PABLO” has further weakened as it continues to move towards Northern Palawan. 

Location of eye/center: At 4:00 AM today, the center of Typhoon “PABLO” was located based on satellite and surface d
ata at 180 km East of Puerto Princesa City (10.2°N, 120.4ÂșE).

Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph.

Movement: Forecast to move West Northwest at 24 kph.

Forecast Positions: Typhoon “PABLO” is expected to be at 440 km Northwest of Puerto Princesa City by tomorrow morning and by Friday morning, it will be at 780 km West of Calapan, Oriental Mindoro.

Public Storm Warning Signal #3:
(Winds of 101-185kph is expected in at least 18 hrs.)

Luzon: Northern Palawan incl. Calamian Grp. Of Islands

Public Storm Warning Signal #2:
(Winds of 61-100 kph is expected within the next 24 hours)

Luzon: Rest of Palawan

Visayas: Antique, Iloilo, Guimaras, Bohol, Siquijor, Southern

Cebu, Negros Oriental and Negros Occidental

Public Storm Warning Signal #1:
(Winds of 45-60kph is expected within the next 36 hours)

Luzon: Occidental Mindoro incl. Lubang Is., Oriental Mindoro and Romblon

Visayas: Aklan, Capiz, and Rest of Cebu

Mindanao: Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental, Zamboanga del Norte and Camiguin

* Public Storm Warning Signals elsewhere are now lowered.

* Estimated rainfall amount is from 10 to 18 mm per hour (heavy-intense) within the 400 km diameter of the typhoon.

* Residents living in low lying and mountainous areas under public storm warning signals are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. Likewise, those living in coastal areas under public storm warning signal #3 and signal #2 are alerted against big waves or storm surges generated by this Typhoon.

* Fishing boats and other sea vessels are advised not to venture out into the Seaboards of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

* The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 11 AM today.
